If it goes it will happen too fast for you to do anything about. If you're lucky it won't jump enough to cause(major) problems. Just make it run like ****, if at all.

Im having issues with my rear tires wearing on the inside. Is an alignment possible back there? Could it be because i have 245 wide tires?

wheel bearings are the only things that can cause that. They are unit bearings at that...expensive part NOT expensive fix. jack up the rear and check for any vertical wobble. The tensioner is also external, and a low labor cost fix. GET THE UPDATED PART FROM GM. Anyways, good luck towards 300K but you will notice unit bearings starting to give out soon, GM has ALWAYS stuck with the low grade steel unit bearings and while they take lots of abuse they fatigue wear over time.

A wideband doesn't show timing ..... it reads the Air Fuel Ratio. If you want to log timing an interceptor or dashhawk is what you should be looking for.

No, not necessarily.

If the car has been pounded over rough roads, the rear twist beam axle can fatigue and begin to sag. VW's are notorious for this, and often have camber problems in the rear even with lower mileage.

Haven't heard of this problem on any GM vehicles though, but its still a possiblity.

Other than that though, like you said - wheel bearings.

Here's an odd question. I am kind of curious what kind of wear the interior of your car is showing after 200,000 miles of driving. How does the gearshift look, seats, knobs, steering wheel, pedals, floors, etc.. I was just noticing after only 14,000 on my car my gear shifter is showing more wear than I would have imagined.

I don't want to hear it. On my Pontiac G5, the rear blinker went out, the rear parking light (side light on the bumper) went out, and the license plate light went out... all in a course of 2-3 months last summer

reading comprehension > you
that was just what was wrong at the time and i had said i was keeping it for 200k. unlike most on here ive kept it throughout everything and didnt feel the need to go faster or look better for the masses. ive kept my dirty ass clearcoat peeling base model balt for 5.5years and 150k. obviously longer than most relationships last as stated a few posts ago.

sorry about your girl mike.

Hey keeping it in the family. Camaro SS is a damn fine car. Salesman tried to get me in to one when I was looking at my Cobalt. It's tough to turn down V8 RWD power...

If you can afford it you won't regret it. And the plus side is it's a panty dropper

If you can make it to 2012 on your cobalt though you need to get the Z28 Camaro

the cobalt is fine. i have NO worries with it. i think i need a fuel filter. ive gone wayyy to long without one. seems to bog down when i get around 1/8th a tank or less.

other then that, im just tired of driving standard in the traffic, 300 miles a day. gets frustrating. now that the love of my life left me, I NEED TO SPOIL MYSELF...and what better way then get a camaro SS?

212,000
