and thats why i didnt get black. i knew i could make it look HAWT, but i knew after the first time i washed it, it would probably have swirls or scrathes because my dad always uses my special towels and gets them dirty. now my yellow is hard to keep clean. im getting pissed i cant wash it (had it for 5 days and its flithy from rain and snow!!!!). IT DRIVES ME NUTS!!!!

hey Delta, thanks a lot for the pics.. been pretty hard to find any actually..
I wouldn't think its a risk at all. Just wait until July/August (that's about the earliest you will be able to see a 2008 come off the line because the plant shut-down is in mid July I believe). If you like what you see in the '08s, then order one. If you don't think it's worth it, get an '07 for a great price because they will be trying to get them off the lots for the new model years. Personally, I don't think they're changing much on the SS/SC's, but you never know.

The 2008 cobalt will look the same, unless crateenginedepot is wrong in listing the SS/SC front bumper as 05--08. >>link<<

that is one way of looking at it.. but the problem is that I cant find a Balt out there NOW that has everything I want and nothing I dont. So I would be compromising... and either losing out on some of the stuff i want, or getting some of the stuff i dont.

But u make a good point..

thats the way it goes. certain packages come with stuff that others may hate, yet want what you get out of the package. thats my dilemma, but i will build what i want as i have my base.

no problem man.

but to also add a comment about u buying this car. if ur gonna get it and it comes with some extra goodies for more money, like the upgraded wheels, u can always swap with someone or sell them and get some of the other ones. hell maybe even strike a deal with the dealer and be like i will buy the car IF u change the wheels back to the other ones.

or just settle for something less in the car like heated seats. i mean great if u use them a lot but if u dont really absolutly need them i mean its not worth it not to buy the car over.

if u dont want to suffice to doin that.

then just order it and pick it up in 6-8 weeks or whenever. its worth the wait if u want everything the way u want it.

I could pick a different colour (which i dont want to do)... But the problem is, those car's also come with more options than i want - upgraded wheels (i like the standard better) and 6 disc CD changer.. both cost bout 500 each.. basically a Grand that i rather put into the upgrades rather than options im not interested in.. and its not in the right colour..

and now i hear 2008's will be altered to strengthen the driveline.. obvioulsy I want the best car for my $$.. so i dunno.....
ok so then wait dude

and u should just delete the wing all together

MY friend's got an RSX type-S and laughs at me when I talk like that because he can't believe that a car can't handle first gear of itself stock?!

yea, i don't have a prob either.. and yes, you will wait until near-end of September for an 08'.. I had to wait two weeks for my 07' this past September.. I wanted an 06, but w/e they didn't have any..

have the dealership do a car locate for you.. tell them EVERYTHING you want, then have them contact dealers across the area to locate a car for you.. chances are they will have one you are looking for.. you want to go the summer w/o an SS/SC?? that would suck man.. this is going to be my first summer with my car.. i hope its a good one i tell ya! but good luck with finding one bro.. just try.. and don't bite at the first car they offer you.. make sure its what YOU want.. not what they want to SELL you.. you can't get in trouble for saying no..

Yea, i had them do a search.. Searched 400 miles, then 1000 miles, then 4000 miles (just for fun)... And not one came back as a match.. So yea, I would rather not wait til the end of the summer for a Balt, but I am a firm believer in getting what I want, and not settling for the quickest fix.. Especially when dropping 30 grand!
