i have mine wired rite to my headlights but you can just wire them to a switch. Theres a how to on here somewhere on how to do it.

lol i know how to wire a switch... come now, what im asking is if anyone has done this by splicing into their amber driving lights, or would the current draw be too high and require me to instill a relay

Mine are wired into a switch thats activated when my headlights come on so they are automaticly come on with my low beams but are on their own fused circut, and their own power. works out great, everything hidden under the fuse box cover, etc...
