armrest fitment issue???

Do you have any pictures that you can post? I put the factory center console in mine the week after I got it in 08 and have never had a problem. I don't think they put them in the SS's because it interferes with the parking brake

It interfers with the parking brake on all models....

I'm going to have to find the article where GM mentions why they didnt install the armrest in the SS models. No one seems to believe me when I say GM didnt install it because it gets in the way during "spirited driving".

I had an armrest installed in my car. Didnt really get in the way during driving other than always having to lift it up a bit to release the parking brake.

Gotta agree with this, I always have to put the armrest if I'm going to do spirited driving and it still gets in the way sometimes. Although having it for DD'ing the car is worth more than the pain of not having it.
