Auto to manual

Hello everyone I have a 06 cobalt ls 2.2L which is an automatic and I also have a Pontiac G5 (standard) I know you can do it and I know how complex it will be but is there anything I need to know to make the transfer go smoothly. Both cars run so I plan on just direct swapping the manual transmission into my automatic transmission cobalt. If you have any information on what will not swap over please let me know. That meaning what will I have to get new?

Success

Been a minute, I successfully did it and have driven 57k miles🤟🏻 I forgot to update. Spent $700 for the whole swap, thanks to a good buddy of mine😂
