Awww thats cute. Here comes the troll
Good to see u. Was wondring when you were going to start trolling my threads again. You drive what? An auto? Is the stick too difficult for you to launch? Do "pros" like you drive autos?
LOLZ, you drive a car that takes no skill to launch.
Please, get out of my thread. The SS/SC will spank the stock GT.
And BTW, its the truth about the tranny, so how bout u STFU dummy. No way that shelby engine is going to run on a GT tranny.

Yea no **** its the truth about the tranny since it wouldn't even bolt up to the motor. When people actually do a swap they swap the whole drive train not just the motor you moron. Who the hell would swap a Shelby or 03/04 Cobra motor and leave the stock tranny? Oh thats right, no one would.
The GT is and always has been a car built for a very broad demographic, which can't be said for the SS/SC. That being said, the GT has to appeal to a broader audience and therefore has to give up the lowered stance, stiffer springs, etc, that would result in better handling. The Mustang platform is capable, but too many compromises have to be made to make a car that sells to such a broad demographic as the Mustang GT.
At my local track, with my old 89 lx 5.0 notchback, lightest of the 5.0 cars, with some light mods (American thunder, k&n,ASD chipped) and stock 2.73s, I could muster a 14.3@99mph....my ss/sc did that off the showroom floor, lol.
The SS/SC would almost certainly be faster.

My car has nothing to do with this. I just think its funny how you run your mouth thinking you're the **** in your lightly modded Cobra. They are nice cars don't get me wrong but you act as if your diving a Lamborghini here. Calling a GT dog **** slow and a POS is acting childish especially when a Vert 01 Cobra aint much faster than a well driven 99-01 GT Coupe.

- That Mustang is ~20 years old
- PLENTY of 99-04 GT's have gone faster than 14.3, stock.

that should put him in his place. you can say Haha my NA 4 banger just raped your V8.
As far as the Sport goes, your best chance is at an auto-X where maintaining speed in the corners is more important than power.
Thanks for the tip, now to see if there's one around here. Do you have to pay to use to tracks or do they just let people come and have fun? Sorry I really don't know ANYTHING about tracks, only been to one once and that was the KONI Challenge VIP Meet.
...and with my current mods, an N/A 99-04 looks at this cobalt walk past him about mid track.....Fn' 4 banger. I have had a 67 289 car, a 68 302 car and the lx, all great cars. I am no kid and have nothing against stangs. Just stating facts.
Well the 4.6s weren't even out when that car was 6 years old. The 5.0s where still in the Mustangs and they really were slow as hell. Actually I guess the first years of the 4.6s might have been out and even those were the ones with NPI H/C/I which really hurt them.
i work with a guy with a 5.0 with some bolt ons, he keeps on telling me that he can go 190 in his car lmao. i laugh at him so bad when another guy i works with tells him bs because his camaro ss cant even go that fast and he has 500whp lol
