cobalt is terrible!!!
I know I started this forum hating on the cobalt and I am way passed my frustration and I apologized but...yesterday something else happened. I was cruizin threw my neighborhood coming home form work and the CEL came on and "ENG PWR REDUCED" came on for no apparent reason. What could that be now?
Every other damn week my cobalt is in the shop!!! door lock doesnt work....cruise control stopped working with a big jolt threw the tranny and sent off a CEL....MAF sensor toasted...**** falls off! im tired of it we should all trade them in and just go get an 05 mustang gt....way better!
Try to get it lemoned.
My car did the engine reduced power A LOT. One time about got me killed was turned left and it stalled in the middle of the road. Know how it got fixed? 60mph into a bridge sideways.
I still miss it though.
There are Mustangs just as bad as Cobalts.

The only problem is that nothing has happened more then once I dont think...MAF sensor....cruise....i dont know whats wrong now with the pwr reduce thing. but ive never taken it in for something twice that i remeber...
call a lawyer, what the worst that could happen.. they say nothing can be done, u say have a nice day.. click..
its worth a shot, id be making calls if my car did that.. my car has been in the shop once and it was pretty much my fault.. i wouldnt keep playing around with it, cause what if something bad happens like the one poster wrote who hit a bridge..
If they have no prior history of problems shown on paper you cant use it to your advantage in getting the lemon law thrown down..

Okay so the engine power reduced light didnt go on this morning so I figured I would drive it to my friends house which is like 8 miles away. I get off the highway and roll to a stop at the intersection. The light comes on and it starts ideling up and down between 500 and 1200 RPMs. It was idleing like I had some huge cam in it. I stalled it out twice at the light before I could get going. My foot was half way to the floor on the accelerator and I had to ride my clutch for a good 10 seconds to get it goin.
