why buy it if you wanna get rid of it? i got my 2.2l LS for 12k out the door. 08 with 7 miles on it. Im currently saving up for some fun performance mods, maybe even a turbo.

 

My 07 2.2 out the door was $8810, it had 4 miles when my dad test drove it and 9 when he was done, it still had 9 when i test drove it and 14 when i got done and thats what it had at purchase but yeah kinda sucks that resale value on these is ****. I don't care that i didn't buy it for an investment, thats not why resale matters. Its seeing that if i need to sell it or trade it i am loosing a **** load of money vs if i bought a honda (just as a resale example) i wouldn't lose hardly anything at all.

 

Sure, but at the same time, driving a honda seems to have a stigma to it. "Torqueless v-tecs" comes to mind. I got mine as a longer term investment, and even then when its time to sell, I would already have it paid off so I wouldn't feel any pain from it. Maybe 2012, maybe longer if the wife decides she wants to drive a stick. How did the SC Z24 hold up in the long run? Might be a starting point to see where the SS/SC ends up.
