Hmm!
Well, like I have said before... My dealer UNofficially said by the second week of Feb. I still haven't heard anything from then...Invoice, Build Date!.... I wonder how all this will play out!

Basically certain areas will get certain vehicles first, then the dealership in that area that sold the most Cavaliers during the same time last year will get first allocation. The Zones are pretty much California, Florida, and Texas first, NY and New England, then they kinda sort out the rest of the country. That is based on market.
The SS should ship the same way. As far as I can tell, they in fact have built some SS's yet, but have not shipped them anywhere.
Here in NC we're not expecting them until mid April (the SS's). However in Florida and SoCal you should be seeing them by late Feb. Vin's are typically available about two weeks before arrival at the dealership, based on the route and area (it takes about a full week to actually ship the vehicles.
However, none of this is official and I'm almost always wrong, but that's what they tell me.

Has Anyone Heard Anything New?
I'm just wondering if anyone heard anything new about when the coupes will be shipped, who getts them first, is GM realesing them to be shipped, is GM keeping on top of the orders.......?
If you go to the chevy web site and use the find a vehicle feature, you should be able to find out if there are any coupes in your area. There are severa base coupes at dealers within about a 200 mile radius of where I live.

And the wait does suck, especially when the story changes every two weeks or so.
