Those just need new valve stems then, those are like $4 a piece when they put on the tires.

Just spray both sides down with the cleaner and let it sit and dry. The TB you will want a large screwdriver to help prop open. The car may run rough directly after with some smoke so don't worry. As for the battery, no it won't pop any fuses because you are essentially completing the main circuit on the car with no power applied.
Thanks Man U were great help! Tomorrow's my day off so I'll do all this. Thanks for the tips I would've been scared if I saw smoke after the throttle haha

I just cleaned my throttle body and now my car idles at 1500 what to do!! I hate riding the clutch like this. I'm already trying to force down the revs by putting it in 1st and braking and it does work sometimes it brings it back to 800 (regular rpms) but once you turn it off it goes back to 1500....

Anyone has any experience with this topic?

SS/TC seats he probably doesn't have, and if he does have those I'll buy them so he doesn't have them.

hmmm so much lol. running one hid and one halogen bulb. carpet is out b i spilled lucas in the back floor, been out for 2 months, took a year before i finally took it out in the first place. now my foot rest is worn (its only foam underneath). trunk leaks around the 3rd light and spoiler. so i took everything out to seal/custom build a system setup... rotors are warped. have ebc red and slotted/dimped rotors ready. both front shocks are toast, and bump stop seperated(like all cobalts) from the shock bearing. passenger sunshade mirror is falling off. errr.... still have a dent that needs fixing on running board were i ran over a metal beam on the highway. (took paint down to the primer so no rust for now). still need to do a timing chain, tensioner, guides and sprockets before its too late.

I'm digging up this thread again...

More problems as shown in pic

P0030 Heated o2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1.
P0102 MAF sensor circuit low frequency
P0443 EVAP purge solenoid valve 1 control ckt
P0833 Clutch pedal switch B circuit

FML

I know my manifold 02 sensor is done and can get one of those at work.

The MAF sensor I'm not sure yet if its just dirty, or if the sensor is done. Its getting Zero reading.

EVAP I have been throwing various codes for years. smoked and pressure tested the whole system and found no leaks, even replaced the gas cap, purge solenoids, and valves. I just tune out the codes. Not worried about this one either

Clutch Pedal switch? WTF does this effect?

Also cruise control isn't working, likely due to the clutch pedal switch.

If the interceptor can read it, it can clear it. However if the O2 sensor problem isn't remedied the code will just be right back.
Description
O2 Sensor Delayed Response - Rich to Lean
Location
Bank 1 Sensor 2

The dent in the IC is either so restrictive the pcm is cutting boost or there is a hole in the IC causing a boost leak.

there is no coolant leak or anything and when i accelerate you can hear the turbo wanting to spool but something is stopping it from getting boost it stays at a solid 0 and when i come to a complete stop it revs and on the boost meter the vac needle revs between 20-25.
