I've driven quite a few Cobalts, and I don't think I've ever driven one that didn't make some sort of nasty noise over bumps. I dunno.

The colder it gets, the nastier the noise lol. 35 degrees and below sounds like the tires are gonna fall off.

Oh well if we're talking about cold weather, my front right strut squeaks quite loudly over bumps sometimes. Gets worse as it gets colder.

I've always just let it be though.

Sometimes I get clunking in the front when I'm stopped and turn the wheel sharp. Started after I installed the coilovers.

- Passenger side window rolls slow too (need to replace regulator/motor)
- Driver's side window has super ugly scratch marks, needs polishing.
- Rotors are shot, steering wheel vibrates like crazy when braking.
- There's a noise like in the steering wheel like somethings a little loose, it sounds when I brake and when I go over light potholes. Still have to find out what it is.
- Car's rpm are very unstable when the car first turns on cold, to the point it almost stalls when I rev up the needle falls all the way to 400-500, 5-10 minutes into driving NO issues at all. Bothers me, but don't know what to even look for.

Anyone knows about this last issue? Car threw a code back in the day (PO300) Cylinder Missfire but the code would be on and off, replaced spark plugs and the code went away forever. The issue with the revs was there before I replaced the spark plugs. Any ideas?

My pass side regulator is shot too. Rotors are a simple fix. Clunking over potholes I bet has something up with the column.

Which motor do you have?

2.2 LS 100% stock don't know what to do I wish I could fix it but I can't diagnose what's going on and don't wanna go to a mechanic bc he'll say 2,000$ for cleaning the throttle... (Which is what I'm gonna do based on some research I've done it could be my problem) lol

Make sure everything is tuned up first. This includes:

Spark Plugs
Fuel Filter
Air Filter

Then, clean your MAF sensor with some MAF cleaner available from most auto parts stores. Then hit your throttle body with some TBC again, from the parts stores. Pull your battery cables off, touch them together to reset the ECM, then drive and see if that corrects the issue.

Wow this is great advice!!
Spark plugs - Check!
Air filter - Check!
Fuel filter? (I replaced my fuel pump if that counts had a recall on it)

MAF sensor is a good idea - Pending.
Throttle was my first guess - Pending.

And the battery I thought resetted just by unplugging it and plugging it back on. But I have to touch the positive and negative together to reset ECM? Lol I'd assume this would blow up some fuses but guess I'm wrong haha

Thanks a lot man I appreciate it will try all of this Wednesday on my day off!

My goal by the end of this week is to finally fix the damn sunroof. Hopefully drilling the tabs will fix the problem because I had to take the tracks out cause they were broken. Also I plan on buying a rain shield for my Injen Intake, cleaning my maf sensor, cleaning the fuel system, cleaning my backseat out, remounting the headliner and finally checking the spark plug gap. Busy Busy Busy....!

Fuel filter is separate from fuel pump. It's an inline filter under the rear of the vehicle. Search for a replacement guide online. You may or may not need special tools, I can't remember at the moment.

When you clean the MAF, do not actually touch the MAF grid. You'll have to take it out of the intake tract. Just spray both sides down with the cleaner and let it sit and dry. The TB you will want a large screwdriver to help prop open. The car may run rough directly after with some smoke so don't worry.

As for the battery, no it won't pop any fuses because you are essentially completing the main circuit on the car with no power applied.

Feels with the tpms sensors here too, I've got two that are causing slow leaks in my tires.
