I've still gotten no response. Emailed John on Nov 14th, Gloria on Nov 25th

I guess I'm fabricating my own parts...

I would try sending another email. They are good people but I do think they tend to get busy and maybe forget. I had to email about 5-6 different times over the course of 6 months to get my trap door oil pan because they were having supply issues. I will say that their parts are usually worth the wait.

Finally!!! I come up with a good excuse to come back to this thread. Sold my 09 ss/tc sedan back in 2014.

This past weekend I picked up a 2008 HHR SS! Itching to get some Powell Race Parts for it!

This is cool - John's the man!

"For those who might only be familiar with C5 and later iterations of Corvettes, make note that Chevrolet DID produce cars before these generations and for their time, they were very competitive. So much so that the sanctioning bodies prohibited them from competing since vaunted marques such as Porsche and Lotus couldn’t keep up with them. They were so dominant that they won every race they entered and the only competition they had was among themselves. So, in 1988, the SCCA banned them from running in the Showroom Stock class altogether.

That led entrepreneurial types such as John Powell, a successful Corvette racer, operator of one of Canada’s leading competition driving schools and creator of the Player’s Cup, a Canadian series for Camaros and Firebirds, to conjure up a new class that would feature only Corvettes and get the slower traffic out of the way."

Wasn't sure if I should make this as its own thread or since it's 100% Powell related, I've been working on a concept for a brand new website:
Powell Race Parts | Concept

Give it a minute if you're on the west coast as it's not a fast server.

I wanted to get some feedback from the man himself but it's been crickets, so I figured I would post to the community.

Looks pretty good. You're right about the server though.

This is long overdue.

The slider sucks because I used Google Images. I need to scavenge the Post Your Ride threads and hope that some of these that are still available are 1080p or higher.

Just thought I would check in here, installed Hardcore rear bar and front trailing CABs. First up the sway bar. I've always felt that the front of the car has some push and wanted to eliminate it. Haven't tested on a track yet but have driven on some back roads and some ramps on and off the highway. Wow. What a difference in the way the car corners, can feel that it is very neutral now. Installed the CABs and the steering is much more precise and the car even seems to track in a straight line much better. Eliminated the small amount of torque steer I still had as well. Now the limitation is the coilovers I have installed. Am planning on keeping them and installing helper springs and longer/softer springs. Two thumbs up for the quality and performance of PRS parts!

Does Powell's air oil separator work on bigger turbo cars? I've seen it on the cars itself with bigger turbos, but never seen how it's it's actually hooked up.
