Last night I was talking to one of my friends and he mentioned that peole have swapped in the V6 SC from the Grand Prix into Cavaliers. So it made me wonder if that is possible with the Cobalt. If it is about how much would it cost?

 

It's possible. The engine will fit. More than likely impracticall. And no one heres gonna be able to give u an acurate price. Lets just say more than a turbo kit.

I've been thinking about this kinda swap myself one day. Just not sure about the ECM or anything like that, ODB2 stuff and whatever other sensors might have to be either replaced or reprogrammed.

 

do those motors have a manual tranny? ive been looking at some swapping options lately, either that or buying another 2.0 and building it.
