exhaust opinions

Just a vote on which you think, and if you voted straight pipe isn't it supposed to make the car run a little better?

Right now I'm running a 3"dp to the 2.25 gmpp exhaust, and took off the muffler and bolted up 2.5 straight pipe out to the bumper

well i have the zzp header, 3 inch dp, and straight pipe 2.5" exhaust with a borla muffler and no resonator, without the muffler it would be extremely loud and raspy, i already set off car alarms when i drive by its too loud.

well with a straight pipe it's going to be less restrictive, therefore allowing the potential for increased exhaust flow. But with less back pressure sometimes you lose tq while gaining a few hp. It all really depend on how much less restrictive it is compared to whatever you had before and what the design was utilized for and if your ecu and fuel system can increase the fuel amount to benefit from the free'er (haha i dont how you would spell it) flowing exhaust.
