Well considering i've literally torn my car apart i can honestly tell you that is there is one the only place it could be is under the hood because its the only area of my car i havent touched yet.

Chevy's arent like fords, all fords actually have a fuel pump kill switch that gets activated on impacts to stop the fuel to the engine in case the crash creates a fire hazard. I've never seen one on any other car, not crash activated like fords anyways, but i could be wrong. ( i'm a bodyman)

Try unpluging the battery for 5 mins plugging it back in, to reset the electrical components. if that doesnt work check your fuses, replace any blown ones. If that doesnt work take apart what you just put back togheter and make sure you didnt forget to plug anything in, like the fuel pump for example. ;-) I usually find out what i did wrong that way. Good luck. ;-)

nope, it should work once you plug it back in.
Usually, turn the key to acc and it will fill the rail again....hopefuly you pulled the right fuse.

Well if there was a kill switch, wouldn't it be controlled by the computer?

Like, the air bag sensor is triggered in a crash and it disables the fuel and explodes the air bags? It says in the manual that it unlocks the doors and opens the windows and turns on interior lights in case of a crash, so maybe the fuel pump shutdown is part of that?

If that's the case, you'd either have to program the fuel pump to stay closed or disconnect the wiring.

If you pulled the fuse or relay , you may need to use the "key" on the lid of the fuse cover to make sure the fuse/relay gets installed exactly in the right pins. You CAN install the fuse in "dead" spots in the fuse panel. That or you blew the fuse somehow...
