yeah, i am confident when i take my time. the way i figure, if i mess up, its fixable, if not, buy another one. doing it yourself teaches you a lot of techniques that can be used in other projects.... now all i need is an extra set of stock lights
The cutoff shield around the bulb......all that does is make sure all the light is concentrated onto the rear reflector and then the light is put forward causing glare.

thanks guys, as for taking apart the headlights and painting them i just followed one of the how tos on css.net and worked perfect, just make sure you reseal properly dont want any condensation!
