yeah, i am confident when i take my time. the way i figure, if i mess up, its fixable, if not, buy another one. doing it yourself teaches you a lot of techniques that can be used in other projects.... now all i need is an extra set of stock lights

Projectors are the proper and best way to go with HID's. Looks clean, clean cutoff, no glare. Want proof? Here are my retrofit Bi-xenon projectors with 6000K HID's:
My lights are the same as yours, a clear cut off line across the wall, I'll take some pics as well...and there is NO **** glare.

thanks guys, as for taking apart the headlights and painting them i just followed one of the how tos on css.net and worked perfect, just make sure you reseal properly dont want any condensation!
