apparently looking like a cheeseball ran you straight over. If your looking for a super fast drag car thats super aerodynamic your driving the wrong car. My suggestion was get a different hood and stop being a cheap bastard. want cold air, get a CAI and take you foglight bezel out.

I was thinking the same thing. It will look like you have a buckled hood with bent hinges.

u guys are pathetic. lol. im not 100% for this mod, but damn no need to bash on it so harshly. it functions and its cheap. if your going to buy a $500 hood for the same effect, just kill yourself for being stupid. you could put in hood spacers for the track and then just take them out when your done. nobody said anything about driving with them in all the time.

this thread is *facepalm*
someone brings up a good idea for function but it doesnt fly because of all the idiots on this site who keep thinking its rice or dumb. IMO most of the ram air hoods for the cobalts look rice as ****. this is a good track day only mod. stop being a bunch of debbie downers.

Dunno if anyone mentioned this, but why not just remove the rubber weatherstrip near the cowl? That will do essentially the same thing.

Not to bad. a hood cost 500 to 850 washers cost .50 to .85 leaving a lot of money for engine mods. so when people say it looks like ****. say it works and it cheap

you say function over form, and I say why the hell are the pictures posted not on a cobalt doing the 1/4 mile but instead on a cobalt parked on the street looking like he got fucked on a decent hood. Ill sacrifice 10 degrees to not look like i wrecked
