it kinda gets me mad because it seems that more people like the arrival than the laser. And there is NO more ordering of arrival available. I guess this will make it more rare/ better resale, but grrrrrr

 

I dont think people really dont like Laser Blue its just that no one has really seen it in person since no one has one yet.

 

yeah, i saw the laser blue on an equinox, and when they said that there were no more arrival blue, i said fine. I like both colors, i just like the arrival slightly better. Laser is nice still though...

 

lazer is basically the same thing slightly lighter without metallic flakes right???

 

it has a slight purple tint to it too, but only in certain lights.

 

I would have paid $3000 for the G85 package. I absolutely love those Recaro seats and stand by my claim that they are they most comfortable seats in ANY sub $25K car. For the amount of time in my life I spend driving, quality seats are very important to me. Oh yeah, there's also the bonus of having the LSD for better bad weather traction and racing if you're into that. That alone is the price of the package.

So yeah, it's no brainer economically, and the seats are great, and you get a argueable boost in traction. If the $1500 won't break the bank and you dont' mind waiting a bit, there is no good reason not to get G85 except a strong want for colored inserts.

 

it seems that someone doesn't want me to have arrival blue. I found 3 and they were all sold as soon as i found them. I am going to put a down payment on my 2nd favorite, the red. It has everything except the smoker's package ( a whopping $15 less, lol) but i'm in love with it.

 

i'm so psyched!!!! Taking delivery on tuesday or Wednesday.

 

Don't know where in Jersey you are, but saw you listed Brandow. I'm a Tech at Bob Maguire and we have a fully loaded SS/SC in red, in case you are interested. But I see you already found one. I could hook you up with the $15 smokers package, never opened, for nothing. I quit for the extra money for my car.

but thanks for the offer... i'm picking up my red 06 ss s/c at kelle chevrolet in howell. My mom works for GM so we get the thing basically loaded (no smoker's package) for just over $24,000. I'll be paying this one off for a while
