If Cobalts are so bad...
As a car, I LOVE my Cobalt! and I'm never gonna tell you otherwise. There are a few little quirks that annoy me about it but you'll have that with almost every car. unless you wanna spend $100k or more on something.
If you consider doing like 10 autocross events the first two summers I had it "beating" it, I don't consider myself doing anything bad to it.
But I still had, and still have problems. Most of which have been the common problems on here. crank sensor went out, wear in carpet, satin door trims peeling, shift cap came off, sunroof plastic rail broke, and a clothes hanger break.
So i'm going to do a little complaining on here... There's no excuse for that having to happen If GM spent a couple extra pennies with better quality parts none of that would have happened on my almost 3 year old SS/SC.
And yeah my temp levels on some of my fluids get soo hot it scares me sometimes, and I do check my fluid levels frequently...
Granted I'd buy the SS/TC just because I've been happy with the car overall and it's one of the best bargains out there. I would just hope the same problems wouldn't happen again and if they do I'd only have myself to blame for buying another one...
I think you have Nuremburg (like the Nuremburg trials, or Nuremburg, the city confused with the "Nurburgring"
Well no offense but i would be guessing you drive a GTO? I was going to buy one of those but i thought there were way better options then one of those, i don't know how much you paid for yours but for being what they are i think they are too expensive to insure as well as buy.
I got my GTO for 24,500 with 5K miles.
I have put about 2500 in parts into it and it makes 435 RWHP.
well by comparison my 02 LS sport cav was almost 10 k cheaper
1. bulletproof axles

All im saying is not everyone wanted or has an CSS to break into 11's or do the best hot lap around the local track. Its all intent purpose is supposed to be a quick little car with good gas mileage to put a smile on peoples face when they want it. Sorry you had a bad experience with yours when you had it but i liked my old one and i like the one i got now.
