Auto will handle more than the stock LAP will. If you want better shifts, use the B&M Shift Plus.

We raced at the 8th mile we both launched even I spun a little with slicks he spun once in boost. We stayed together for a sec he started creeping and once my meth kicked in at 10 lbs at second shift the started creeping his time was 8.6 mine was 8.58 u ask how I got this time I'll tell u learn to tune and then talk. A car with the same power but differnt power adders or even the other car having the t/c having a little more power will be a tad bit slower due to a s/c car having instant power .... Remember I also said slicks not street tires. And if you think I am playing around with this try it your self tune for 30% boost in first and 80% in second make ure car do wut u want don't be stupid and put max boost all around. the car that is tuned right even with the same power the times will be differnt. And more theme Lilly the sc will always win. Now that I am built and I have all the mods I have I've ran against tuned trifecta Balts and were easily able to creep on them by a nose length a car. But I am built now and I am only pushing 16lbs on a 2.6 and I won't say why.

But like I said before do a sc build bro.

Sorry bout typing iPhone loves to change words

you just dont know when to give up. With that 2.6 your making maybe 290, thats being generous, and your acting like your cars the fastest one on the boards. Go sit in the corner, matt just told you straight up.

I would rather have a tc, easier power. but lsj make great power with a tvs or turbo setup.
Unfortunately you do not understand the difference between boost and power/torque output. Just because you can make a S/C produce boost at virtually any RPM does not mean its making significant power. The T/C produces 260ft/lbs at 2,000RPM. The LSJ could never hope to touch that number, let alone exceed it.

say my car has tvs and e85 making 440whp and your tc makes 440whp. and we race each other in the quarter, with slicks, my car will not only have a quicker 60ft but also keep pulling harder on top end. A tc has lag we do not, a tc with bigger turbo has much more lag. we still dont with a tvs.
Why would you have a quicker 60' time?? What is your reasoning?? We're not comparing a turbo Honda to a Supercharged Cobra here, we're comparing a S/C 4 cylinder to a T/C 4 cylinder. Big difference. The T/C actually has more power and torque over the RPM range, makes more peak power and higher torque at a lower RPM, and lag is not an issue. If you use launch control and NLS, you will experience no lag whatsoever. Unlike an Evo or STI, the SS T/C's turbo is properly sized for the engine, its a dual scroll unit, and the LNF is direct injected as well. Therefore it doesn't suffer from turbo lag inherent to traditional turbo 4 bangers.

I don't think you have to worry about the auto trans taking the power. I was just clarifying that the peak hp numbers will be lower throuh an auto.

You know I do understand all you all are saying. I really do but I am also just not a regular m62 but I'll give this on up since the only way you could beleive me is dynoing my car. No but I see what u r talking about. I'm not and idiot, even though eaton says to not port the silencer holes I portEd them into the v shaped port and see what te flow is. I lost boost but gained better flow. I also have another m62 and put a 2.6 on it and ran it again and it seemed I lost alot of power. And I did tune it again after that......I'm not even saying my car is even fast wut I was saying was put the s/c and the t/c together making same power and launch the two cars and see the outcome.....

Oh yeah I undstand about a s/c not making significant power all the way around. Mainly caused by heat and drag on the motor from the belt. I do understand. Most my power comes at 4k to 7500 rpm not low end.........

i drove with with my ss sedan pillar in for a day. got really upset with it cause it was just there and not worth much at all. the real point was testing the fitment but a dead boost gauge looks like rice. nothing personal, so i took the pillar out until my build starts next week.

Sorry, we don't have payment plans. It would be too difficult to assess the risks and keep track of everything.

best way to go about it is start a savings account just for your build. dont get a loan for it.... if you even can.

x2.

A bank won't give you a loan for something that intangable anyways. It is rather difficult for them to reposess a supercharger or turbocharger setup.

You take out a personal loan. they don't all ask what it is for.
