When I first tried to get them off I was cussing and screaming I am a firm believer in the BFH (Big ******* Hammer) maneuver. Remember when putting them back in the hole and bolt both have lines on them. You can "kinda" like up the lines to make it slide in better.

HAHA

the job is finished and it rides true< menaing i don"t need an alignment< i measured the front before and after and it dropped it 1.5" although they advertise 2" F / 2,5" rear for non SS. The actual drop from the Tenzo R GF2 springs on my cobalt was 1.5" F / 2" R and both wheel weels are equal

The rear springs creek like a bitch, any advise? i'll do some research, it sounds like the springs but could it be somehting else? THANKS FOR THE HELP GUYS!

my rtires are 215/35/18R so the wheel gap is still pretty large.
PICS(after drop)

Get an alignment. Just because the car doesn't pull doesn't mean you don't need to get one. You've lowered your car by 1.5"...you've just changed the telemetry of the entire suspension. Trust me it's worth 60 bucks to save your tires...

looks good, and as far as the drop, drive it for a week or two, then get it aligned. give your springs a chance to settle, they'll lower a bit more, and then you won't have to align it again. the creaking may be the coils rubbing together, but that should go away soon.

problem solved, it just took a couple hunder miles for them to stop making oise, the only reason they're squeeking is because the springs are rubbing against themselves, not any other hardware, i'll wait another week or two efore i get an alignentthanks for the hlp guys. i highly recommend Tenzo R GF2 springs for the cobalt owners, they're only $151 shipped.
