removed all plastics, bumper supports (rear/front) under hood. fiberglass Sunoco hood. truck plastics.

but it had all seats inside, I removed the rears and passenger to make some passes, but noticed it didn't affect my times that much, so installed everything back on and ran that way.

my main issue was weight transfer, and I had a nice setup. my times were bolt ons, cam only.

are ya'll really switching to manual for weight reduction? or is there another reason that i'm just not catching. granted i'm not an electrician or engineer, but what kind of weight are we looking at in the wiring, switches, regulators, whateverthehellelse there is relating to power window?

my car came with power. I removed all the door wiring and the wiring up to the fusebox for the door accessories, and re routed the wires for the airbag and door sensors up through the dash opposed to across the floor

Dang! Yeah, I took off my rear seat head rest off and it's so much better. Because it was blocking the rear view blind spot, it's all clear now and I'm happy with it. Can't wait to see your result!

What about taking your dash support bar and drilling holes in it, could probably get a few pounds off without severely affecting structural integrity lol and if your not running ac or heat take the evap and heater cores out while your at it

I want to take out the blower and heater core/etc. so bad but the issue is on cool summer nights the windows will fog and you are, lacking a better term, fucked.

Rice that sunroof delete with a pop out panel would be nice... Might have to look into that.

I don't even use my sunroof except to crack it open, too afraid of the damn thing failing

I'm looking into films that are supposed to prevent fog from forming. I guess they use them on shower doors and the freezer glass in some supermarkets.

I saw someone had a heater core assembly on facebook for sale. lol I asked them to weigh it.
