Im gonna ask this again cause nobody answered me lastbtime or seemed to know ?? But does an SS/SC weight a tad more then a SS/TC ??

 

I believe yes the SS/SC weighs a tad more than the SS/TC around 100lbs or so from weights I have seen people get on truck scales.

 

last summer with a full tank of gas and no spare tire i came in at 2926 in my TC

 

Weighed it again yesterday. About 3/16ths less of a tank than last time. Took out passenger seat and back seats. Car weighed in at 2800lbs

 

Unless you do it in the car.

 

I took off my trans. best weight reduction yet.

 

I added 50lbs to my car and it got faster. Weird

what weighs more, 50lbs of n2o, or 50lbs of feathers? haha

 

The n20 would because you need a bottle. Unless the feathers are also bottled.

What do those run weight wise? I have the ultraleggera's and I think they are 17-18 lbs? 18"

Pretty sure those bodies are for tube-chassis drag racing cars, not your stock cobalt. I'm curious about those poly windows though. Glass is heavy as ****. I work with it every single day. Plexi is a pain in the ass to fit but is lighter. Our 40x60 sheets of plexi are probably 15lbs apiece. Easily half that of glass.

 

Ya, after I was looking I was like...meh I bet non of that fits. You could probably get the window to fit, but it will rivet onto the door, not work as stock window.

 

Plexi rear windshield is tempting if you can tint it and make it look stockish haha
