@armcclure
You have posted very good, but I feel like you were looking to pick a fight. Like you said when someone starts calling you out your going to retaliate, wouldn't you expect James to do the same? A lot of this info seems like you copied and pasted it from a site (idk if you have) it just seems generic without and real experience backing. Like I said before, this is not a slam by any means, just wondering where you have picked up your info or if you actually work hands on with meth?

if i came accross as trying to pic a fight then i apologize. my intention is to get the information out here.

and the only things i've cpoied and pasted are the compressor map pic and the pic of the combined gas law formula.
if there's a site out there with all of this already written out please point me to it; they may have some things that i haven't been made aware of yet. would have saved me a alot of time too.

everything i've explained here isn't just my opinion, it's how things actually work, and i have the science to back me up.

i do not do alot of hands on meth work. i have it on my car and love it, but being on e85, i use it for boost gain (about 1-1.5 psi on a 2.6 m62), and for keeping the blower itself cooled off. temps are a nice bonus, but they were already just fine with my single pass.

everything i've posted is things that someone with even a very minimal understanding of meth could figure out.

i love science, physics, and math, and performance. all of that comes together into what i've posted.

What i don't understand however is how difficult some of you guys are making this. It's not like i'm throwing out some crazy new idea. The laws of science and physics have been known for a long time, and all i did was take them and apply it to this application.

Science doesn't lie.

in the eyes of the jewish, christian people. (science is ****). Sarcasm, but i wasnt making it difficult or trying to....., I was mainly confused because i was talking about the parts (sc as a whole) not the charaistics of the pumping airlfow! With that i am sorry...

not sure what you mean there.... You can't argue with estabilished scientific laws...

And i'm sorry sounding like i was picking a fight, what i really want is the correct information available for ppl to learn from

Now that we're getting closer to being on the same page, maybe we can bring even more to the table.

What out of the things i have posted based on science/ physical laws do you disagree with? I'm not so nieve as to think it's impossible that i interpreted something incorrectly.

I am not disagreeing with you. We were just talking about different things for most of the coversations.

Ok.

If anyone has a question about any more of this feel free to ask. I enjoy science applied to performance, and if it's something i don't know, i'll dig it up and share what i find.

My questions weren't being an ass, I was simply just asking where you knowledge was coming from. I don't read up on meth or really care to since I don't run it. But more info the better for the community. And about the Jewish and Christian, he said hewas being sarcastic

armcclure, science explained coherently...you should give lessons

As for me,

HP Tuners, Greg Banish Books and DVD, tooning myself > paying someone else.

I know of some toons out there that had disabled some fairly critical power adders, toons by some of the 'go-to' characters on this site. Anyone interested in having scientific and mechanical engineering principals applied when they are tuned should seek out a tuner who knows how to explain them and more importantly understand them! I recommend BennyHHR, haven't used him but I know he has cleaned up some tunes from some of the 'tooners' on css.net

Lol.. Best ecotec tuner in united states. Where do I inset laughs? I know I'm not but that's a big accusation? No proof of being the best except for zrateds car which is a lot to do with driving consistently. And a good tune.

you should dig up all his old threads and read them. he isent like 90% of the cut and paste tuners on here that takes 2 hours or less to put a dog **** tune on a car and claim wild numbers

Well i understand that, but calling someone the best ecotec tuner is kinda blunt.. Ive talked with him before for about a hour or so on the phone when he called me and asked my opinion on a few things.

No more onto the tuning aspect. Making a file is difficult i understand this, which after a file is done on one car it can be used aas a base file for another car to start with. Now every car is different so this means the tune will be. But there is not point in redoing a file for one car if you have say hundreds in which i do. Ones ive created for random other cars in certain areas in different elevations and temps nd mods. And yes i do take my time tuning, Uusally 3ish hours or so.. Remotely is different because i am not there!.

For you meth heads, what about using methanol as a catalyst to better fuel economy?

So what will happen if someone runs meth without a tune? also what if someone is tuned for meth but doesnt want to run it all the time and turns if off but is still tuned for it?
