yea you did sorry but my next question is if i get tuned for meth do i have to run it all the time. what if i shut it off? how can i run it safely do i have to have 2 different tunes.
Why would you want to shut it off? It's not flowing all the time, most systems are based on boost pressure, so are only spraying at a certain PSI
If you are tuned for it then yes. When you get a tune and you are on meth many things will change. If your car is at say 25* advance at WOT while on meth, but then try that 25* WOT without meth you will be fucked. Not those exact numbers, but you get the idea

ok thanks for the info kdubs how can i have a tune set up where i can switch tunes? is there a way this is possible sorry for the noob questions but i'm new to meth kits? thanks in advance
Not without HPT.
If
You want to run meth, ecpecially for the octane boost, it's going to have to be on at wot. If you don't want it to tirn on for some reason then just stay under the boost switch setting. Simple.

You can get meth, have the car tuned for meth, and still drive it every day just fine.. AS LONG AS you stay out of boost. You won't be able to go WOT with your meth tune UNLESS you have meth, and your system works properly.
I leave my tank empty for like a week before I fill it. Keeps me out of boost
but saves money

Simple visual for those that may have had trouble following the debate about supercharger efficiency increasing due to rotor sealing.
Stock SC is like a bucket with a hole in the bottom. It has a fixed volume but some is lost each time before you can dump it. Meth effectively seals the rotors to the case like plugging the hole in the bucket. You can move more volume each time(bucket load or SC rotation)making it more efficient.
Typed on my iPod so sorry if it isn't as clear as it should be.
