Climb in through passenger side
Seriously we all have this problem from time to time because of the crappy GM locks. You can bang on the outside near the lock or keep clicking the unlock and lock button until you hear a louder click and then it will open.

It will do it again in the future. You can try clearing out all the lube from around the lcok and relubing it with a good grease but it seems the only permanent cure is to replace the lock.

If you think that is bad I had it happen on my passenger side once so I locked and unlocked the lock rapidly waiting for it to unlock like usual but I did it so many times that I overheated the solenoid (no click at all) on the drivers side and it stopped working at all and remained in the locked position. Luckily once it cooled down the drivers side started working again.

Finally! Someone else has this problem. I had the same thing happen to me, the latch just froze. They/ you have to take the drivers seat out, take the door panel off and chi Zoe the latch off. My mechanic had to repair the door cuz he punched holes in it. It's a bitch of a repair and it's almost never heard of

Both of my doors have done this; most recently my passenger side. I spent about 5 mins trying to get the passenger door to unlock with the button and finally just jumped out and did it with the key. I think the power door lock actuators on our cars are kinda junky (just like any GM product from 1999 and up)

Thanks the whole lock unlock with the key in the door going back and forth fast and a bunch of times fixed the issue.
