need ricer help

okay let me start by saying that i am older than 99% of the people on here, so i need some help. I have seen 100's of coffee can mufflered Honda's running 4-5 tipped exhaust that doesn't "blend in" with their car. But just this weekend i saw a few cars that looked like this-

[IMG][/IMG]

I am an old hot rodder that just doesn't get what's cool with wanting to show your mufflers. I initially thought the car looked pretty good, and wasn't lowered to the ground till i got behind it. To me it just looks like you ordered the wrong exhaust, and couldn't return it. Like i say im old ( i like listening to the motor over the radio), so feel sorry me and help me to understand the ugliness that is this trend. Oh and i live in a small town leading a sheltered life. Thanks

Saw a beautiful 370z that had the same thing, just made the car look stupid and cheap. The pipes literally stick out farther than a pickups trailer hitch. I also hope that its parked inside, cause if you get stuck in a heavy downpour without it running, you could fill your exhaust with water. I dont get it, but im old.

to help you understand this issue, you need to first understand the psychological issues that reside in the minds of most people that own these cars. these are people with a history of deep rooted psychiatric problems caused by smallpenisidis.

Some try to hide their disease by getting lifted trucks. some do it by becoming police officers and pedophiles. some do it by putting large mufflers on their cars. some do it by going to the gym and bodybuilding. but these people belong in that category

These cars remind me of sushi, full of rice and leave a fishy after taste...

Not sticking up for the rice, but I often feel this way when I went to hotrod shows with my old man. What is a fiberglass body 3 window coupe painted in pink, teal stripes and a crush velvet interior doing for them that I don't get? The Good Guys shows are particular hard to take sometimes.

At the end of the day its like clothes, an extension of you... stay out of mine, i'll do the same has been my philosophy.
