Well, seing as how my Arrival Blue SS 2.4 coupe lacks any sort of rear compartment lighting, I was thinking about throwing some discreet blue or white neons somewhere in the back. I would love to do this but how the hell can I do it without it looking too ricey?

neon lights are ugly. i would rather get those battery operated lights that you can stick to the top liner that turn on when you push on them.

 

ok i guess neons are a bad idea. heh, not like anyone sits in the back anyway. There's enough legroom for a quadrapalegic back there and thats about it.

 

use leds. i have a trick up my sleeve that ill be starting very soon. will looks amazing.

 

Dammit why did fast and the furious/ricers have to ruin interior lighting? It looks cool to a certain point!

 

The fast and furious kiddies didn't ruin interior lighting it's all the haters that ruined it. You see it's cool to hate on anything you see in F and F so if someone has neon those kids with low self esteems that are trying to prove themselves to their friends will hate on it and make wise cracks calling them a ricer. Yes, sometimes neon does look really tacky, but if it's mounted descretely and in a spot where it makes a nice soft glow it can actually look really nice.

If you like neon go for it. Not really my cup of tea but I have seen it look very good in some cars. If it's rice you better not go around telling all the street rodders that because they have been doing it a lot time.

 

Just get some of those stick on clapper lights from Walmart

 

i plan on lighting my whole interior and exterior up. i could give a hoot what people call me or my car....key word MY CAR. but i think the LED is the way to go, brightest and vary small, can hide them really well. try putin a few in the rear window trip plastic or place a few tube neons behind the rear headrests

 

please im begging you dont do neons
