I get the GM supplier discount and when I priced it out via that discount on gmbuypower I got ~950 bux off the MSRP. So it sounds on par to me.

My dealer will sell anything at $49 over invoice here's what it comes out to:

1AP37 Coupe 2D

Price With Destination Charge and
Required Equipment $20,602.05(invoice) $21,995.00 (MSRP)
+49.00(over invoice)
+500.00(shipping to anywhere)
$21,151.05 (total)

This dealer is one of the larger dealers for chevy. they average 150-200 cars a month in sales. I can give anyone the info if they are interested. That $49 over never changes, no hussle on the price, $49 over that's it!

What do you mean (shipping to anywhere). The going rate for a roll back is $1.25 a mile, round trip (both ways). If you think he's gonna ship something 500 miles away for five hundred bucks, I need him at my dealership.

Villain

P.S. who is reasonably certain you can find dealers like this across the country.

The shipping was quoted to me when I had the wrong Cav come in and we were going to get one from OK to Cincinnati. I also know of a shipper that shipped a friend of mine had his Viper sr-10 shipped from flordia for $500

Oh, I can ship a Vette for $500 anywhere in the country, because a Vette has almost six grand in markup to use, and I'd imagine that Dodge had something similar.

But I can't ship a vehicle I'm selling for $49 over invoice anywhere further than 200 miles for $500.

My point is that you should be able to find a dealership in your area that should sell you a majority of their stock for $49 over invoice. If you ask nicely enough, I'll do it.

Just be careful of the fees. Within reason, every dealer has them, and they are nothing but markup. I've seen them range from $50 to $500, I've even seen with my own eyes dealers that put addendum stickers on cars that say something to the extent "Additional Charge for Market Adjustment" and those range anywhere from $250 to one dealer who had one for $2495.

Also, if they offer some sort of "protective shell coating" on the exterior, DON'T BUY IT, EVER. It's crap, and it's nothing more than clear coat polish. Don't buy the extra stain resistant coating on the interior either. If they offer an extended warranty on the vehicle or the tires, then do consider that if that is in your budget, but the "shell protector" stuff is nothing more than "underbody coating" from the 80's.

P.S. I did have a point, but it was basically to look around to see what different dealers will sell you that vehicle for.

Villain.
