im planning on painting my headlights this weekend. i've been thinking about it, and i'm hung on what color to do them. color matched or black. the thing that makes my car a little bit different from most ls's is that i have the black inserts where the fog lights would be. so it adds a bit more black to the front of my car.
(and i'll add that i have already painted the bow tie black)
i personally think that whatever color i choose it will look good, but i just wanted to hear what some of you guys had to say. red or black??

 

i love colormatched red headlights. i have painted some for 2 members on here. redecotecss and raineman. check them out for pics

heres a lil sample of the headlights. raineman has a lot better pics.

 

yea i kno, i was originally gunna ship them out to u too, but i found a few other balt owners in my area that are willing to help me out with the job, so i figured i would have a go at it.

wdsoccer does great work. as soon as i get my car back (as you can see, my intercooler got rapped by a groundhog... ) (should have the car back late tomorrow/early wednesday) i'l take some better pics and post them.

i think it would be a toss up for you on color. red would look sick and so would the black, either way it still much better than the stock chrome look

 

Okay... Jr posted the pics already... good... saves me from doing it... mine are the same as his... matched red.

Though with the black inserts in the bumper like that... black headlights wouldn't look bad either... kind-of a toss up.

nope. but iv'e had it planned for almsot a month. and now that the weekend im gunna be doing it is coming up, im second guessing myself on the color match. kinda leaning towards the black look now. most likely gunna go black, just cuz it would look good with the black inserts i have.

just my opinion but i think that black would look sick and then maybe a color match eye lid?
i have color matched eye lids on my silver sc and i think it looks awesome!
