porting and polishing heads?

how hard would this be for a newbie to do? my dad just bought a die grinder lol.

because AFAIK its just popping the heads off and smoothing/polishing the chanbers and the cylinder head, is this one of those "easier said than done"?

or is it actually kinda easy?

whats the gain like? its an LE5... if that makes any difference...

i did one but never had it flow tested yet...i did the initial flow test but not after the port and polish but i took out a good amount of material especially exhaust side and got the exhaust side glass smooth. look up some how to's on other heads to give u an idea. BTW i did nothing inside the combustion chamber cause i dont wanna **** that stuff up haha

nothing wrong with smoothing it out a bit, but if your a pro than big gains can be seen.

I'll probably end up doing, but just the Ex/Intake tubes, I did a bit of searching and I heard you can f*** up the heads if you do them wrong.
