Break torquing is fun on most autos and leads to Sweet launches and tire shredding good times. However the Cobalt is more computer than car now, twisted and evil. But seriously I seem to rember break torquing in my Balt before and Having alarms and chimes and Idiot lights going off.

its a wagon. The sedans only come in up to 2.3 i believe?

but for the car, i plan to get an intake but keep the factory exhaust for now.

Mine didnt emit anything like that. It acted like the typical brake torquing my truck does.

you're talking abut +1000hp cars, not 140whp cars. it's not the same thing at all. in the cobalt having an auto vs. a manual is going to get you for a good 1/2 second at least.

well i rode with the kid in the Si and he's terrible at shifting, missed second alot, 3rd a couple of times...
