Give him the MPG argument. When I first explained to my dad what a CAI does for MPG he wanted one for every car and truck he owns.

yeah i did that a while back and he said yea then when i had the money to buy it he said no

I bottomed mine out once when i eased too far into a parking spot with a side walk.

i hit a dip at 30 in my galant. messed the catilac converter.

racing converter went in, in cali, still got few years til smog....

I bottom out in my Mustang when I have more than 1 passenger. I still can't figure out what is scraping...

I hit a manhole cover....

I "bottomed out" when a manhole cover in the street came up off the street when my car drove over it, during a monsoon. The drainage/sewer line backed up due to too much rain, and the cover hit the oilpan, while missing the crossmember. The oil pan was totalled and the car had to be towed to the dealership to get it checked out. New pan and mounts (as well as a Right Rear wheel and tire assembly) billed to the City of Glendale!

I still have pics of the manhole cover broken in half from the impact with my car. That was a crazy night...

Oh, the car had less than 3500 miles on it, too!

well this "speed bump" more like a hill was about 8-10 inches high lol
