stock means no bolt ons no tune no engine mods of any kind.


Truly stock though would be stock wheels, no car audio mods, no mods of any kind. Nothing but factory parts, which OP is not.

i dont think anyone on the forums has a totally stock car.. the whole reason behind these forums is for aftermarket part networking and troubleshooting for almost 99.99% of the time.. if you wanna see a stock cobalt go look in the walmart parking lot

well i use royal purple and better oil filter but thats mainly it lol and yes i meant motor wise only

ehh, I've never seen good things with royal purple on any FI car. For the cost of RP run AMSoil, it's a proven better oil for FI cars, and can double your oil change intervals.

What if they ordered an SS/TC with GMS1 right from dealer? Would that count as "stock"?

This is not me I broke it in a little over 10,000km before buying it.

It's an 06, I used to drive 75-80 mile a day round trip to work, and I do alot of traveling for leisure and it uses a whole lot less gas than my truck.
