Completely stock except I installed heated seats. 22k miles. Wanting GMS1 but I think that still counts as stock

I consider gms1 stock as its just an option like anything else.

I could have ordered my car with or without the rpd, with or without gms1. Does that make the rpd or gms1 not stock. I don't personally believe something that is factory warrantied option on your car from the dealership as not stock.

But some people will disagree. Same thing could be said about limited slip.

Would it ever be possible GM release a stage 2 kit for the SS/TC? More aggressive flash+GMPP intake or something like that. They could even advertise warranty safe since there are fewer on warranty to this date.

I highly doubt it but I would definitely consider a GM stage 2 kit if it were released.

it sure does seem as though everyone is quite modded here.

I will be upgrading valve springs (been driving a four banger that I shift above 7k rpm too long! )
but I will go lengths to appear 100% stock...

I was told from a good source last year in no certain terms (couldn't officially comment) that this wasn't going to happen;
GM seems to have a stance of only making stuff like this for current platforms.
GMS2 seems to have been still-born ~ it was an intake.

As an example - All of the Cobalt SS/SC stage kits were released while the car was still being produced.

Trifecta tunes, for all intensive purposes are "safe"...
(hint: stealth tunes)

With all the issues I read of people having problems with regards to aftermarket tunes it's possible I might just stay GMS1 forever with light bolt on's. My job requires my car to be reliable so waiting on someone to fix my tune who knows how many times per year is risky...

K&N, single cat downpipe, intercooler tubing. I'd monitor readings of course since it's on GMS1. Downpipe isn't a must since I love having a quiter car, also why I opt for the cat, I had a loud exhaust before on my last car and I'm done with those days. That recent video that was posted of that black SS/TC on the dyno showed good numbers for his mods. I'd be happy with similar. Bigger power I'd love to have in an AWD which is a possibility later on. In 4 years from now there are some cool cars coming out.
