Would a 2005 ion redline PCM work in my 2006 cobalt ss? We would be swapping tvs/80s for m62/50s and im just curious if we could swap PCMs as well. Just so we wouldnt have to mess with retuning and what not. thanks

 

yes the gas gauge will read backwards you may have to do a security relearn and a crank angle relearn

 

You disable the security on them and do the crank angle relearn.
The VINs wont match either, but you can change that if you license both cars with the same HPT.
