Thinking about buying a cobalt need advice
I've only owned a Cobalt for 10 days, but so far I like it. Now mind you I have the LT with the 2.2 not the SS/SC or SS/TC. For me I mostly have a suburban driving environment so I'm averaging 24mpg, but highway driving would get me 30 average. Huge doors might be a problem in tight spots, but you get used to them. Visability in the rear isn't bad, but I imagine with the high SS wing, you might have some issues (I have the low rise). I'm waiting for someone with an SS to chime in here, but if you get an LT, you won't be disapointed - coupe is the way to go if you didn't catch my drift earlier
. Oh and pictures are a must if you buy it
. Good luck
I like mine and its as basic as you can possibly get. I get 31-32 in town and 35-38 on the highway running 70-85mph. For the money you can't beat it, just make sure you get the one you want the first time around, i would like a ss\sc or ss\tc but that just because i want alittle more power/handling/braking without losing any warranty.
Last week I got 39.2mpg goindown to the Ocean City and back. Yesterday I got 36.5 mpg coming to sea isle, but it was really rainy and full of traffic on the way down. I have to accelerate slowly to get that milage and I rarely go above 3k rpm. Cars in sig
^^Yea I get about 26-28 city, and as much as 39 highway, usually around 37 though. Traffic is what will kill ya with either of those though.
Not bad for a car rated at 22/28 haha
