it sucks but it's not surprising.. there are a bunch of insurance companies that wont insure a car with major performance modifications they'll consider you a higher risk and can refuse coverage.. (it's what happened to me with my old insurance company) my new insurance i have my mods covered.. they take how much you've spent and then if the car gets totaled they give you car + price of mods

Next time get collison to avoid **** like this, would have been cheaper in the end to pay the higher monthly payments. sorry to hear about this. what i dont get though is the guy here who works for the insurance says the guy who hit you is responsible for the damage? so why is he not paying for it?

well um im on the phone with progressive but they said it wouldnt get an apraisal and send it to them so they can verify you have that stuff but at least some people can use this and figure out what they have on thier insurance and what they cover
