that guy brian does know his **** about cars... I'lll give him that.... that 944 he's doin should be sick (but thanks to him my friends saw that so now I have to start the same project) but still opinions should really be kept to yourselves when it comes to things like this... if you weren't there or don't personally know the person... you really shouldn't assume.. this was supposed to be an info thread... not a bitch fest... we have enough of that on other posts...
but anyway.. I've said my peace.... continue

Brians cool I guess but i think being in the trenches with a lotta the noobs on this site changed him a little. you can only see so many "How many HP's will this intake get me" and "I want 5 million horse power what parts do i need to buy?" threads and all the other bullshit complaining and whinning before you just snap.......... Thats why i backed off this site for a couple months it was getting to me and i can't have people on here making me fall outta character.

You just have to not pay attention to those threads. If I see an intake or "what do I need for x amount of ponies" thread I don't click on it. I always find those threads funny though because if you have to ask what parts you need, you aren't knowledgable enough to build a car with that much hp, so you shouldn't be asking. Kids are funny though and I encourage them to dream big.

it wears on you though man when i vist sites like srtforums or clubrsx i dont see as much of that noob bullshit. I swear only 7% of the members here have any general car knowledge at all whihc isn't bac cause thats what forums are here for to inform people but **** is overwhelming some time when mixed with the hardasses, trolls, noobs, and bickering.

Does GM let you keep all the same warranties when you get their stage 2 stuff? Sorry if this has been covered in the last 10 pages

Gm warranties the upgraded parts for Stage II if they are the ones who install it. I'm sure if you got just stage II installed and borkwe your clutch i'm sured they claim you abused it and won't cover your powertrain.

they won't warranty anything powertrain related apparantly.... automatically claim abuse and won't even touch the car.... GM sucks...
drive the car like they advertise it and they won't fix it...

screw gm and their warranty. when I had the gm stage 2 they denied warranty for the clutch problems and told me that it was "user abuse" that I probably watch fast and the furious too much there I probably drive like it. i just laughed at them and had a few choice words. They proceeded to tell me that they can check the computer for driving history I told them that is BS because I bought the car and it had 200miles on it so they had no proof it was me..... needless to warranty doesnt matter now.....

lol.... I heard that exuse when I brought my car in the one time... thats how I got my warranty voided.. and car redflagged... lol

but anyway., I forgot about this thread.

on a side note, I fixed this dudes tranny, and he vanished with my s/c, never paid me, and I finally chased him down when he just blew his motor so at least I got my s/c back cause his was fucked up and made me not want to drive my car because it was running like ****.

oh and he's attempting to get it fixed under warranty.... lol... both our cars were at the same dealership when the broke the last time and both were voided...

You see they have this cool trick in place and most dealerships follow it i notice hey when you show up they are hella friendly and whant to help you buy your $24,000 car once you buy it they tell you whats covered and whats not and then you leave you come back when you need somthing done they are like ooooo can't help ya because you voided ur warrenty by doing burnouts or by being an agressvie driver so we sold you an Eco Car with a supercharger and we know it has 205 and we don't want you warrenty it because we already have ur money for the car and we know its a problem but why should we pay for it. its your fault not ours

All this bull **** about us racing should give them the right to void are warranty??? Then what the **** is gm advertising???? why is there a supersharger on the car why is it a ss why do they offer performance upgrades??? So we can go fast and race if the cars were ment to look pretty and go slow there wouldnt be a engine under the hood designed by gm PERFORMANCE. Im sorry thats bull **** these cars are specifically built to compete with other performance car companies. Now if you beat the **** out of your car all the time you get what you deserved. But if its a weekend warrior and you take care of it and somthing brakes thats another thing. All im saying it why build a preformance car and have it not perform...

sorry my rant is over

The thing is, you can get performance upgrades, but they never say "ok, you are good to go fast or race!"

They don't care what you do with your car, as long as they don't have to fix it free.

I had a similar problem with GM. I went in for a routine check and they told me I needed to replace a seal or something. So I take it in for the replacement and they tell me I need a new transmission and two new axels. When I went in to talk to them they said it was driven hard and all this bull ****. In the end they fixed it for free and I ended up rolling one of their demo cars
