What to do for boost guage?

Well the boost guage was stolen out of my car... the car was sitting at the dealership and my dad forgot to lock it.

My question is what should I get for a boost guage? I heard the factory is not too accurate, is this true? I like the Autometer Nexus because it looks kind of like the factory one but you have to buy a $200 controller to run it. Anyone have any other suggestions?

I would go with a mechanical guage over an electronic one. Here is a How-To on it.

Actually when the OE gauge is put together right it is correct.

Keep in mind that the stock gauge is beig told the same info that your ECM is, and it needs to calibrate fuel tables off that same scale.

I wonder what they think they can do with your gauge? It will not work in anything else unless they make there own control unit.

stock one is accurate, but slow, I used auto meters cobalt series mechanical boost gauge. Main reason being it says cobalt on the gauge, so I figured what the hell. They light up cobalt blue.

CodySS is right . ENUFPOWER verified with a mechanical boost guage , it was within .5 psi .

I went with a mechanical boost guage anyways . Autometer has several new series of gauges out that arent really advertised yet .

Phantom II
Ultralite II
Sportcomp II

All look just like the normal series , but are backlit with bright white LED's in the same fashion of the cobalt blue line .
