Had to do the same thing when I got a replacement hood for my carbon fiber hood fitment issues. I went to town with a shot gun. They quickly shipped me a new hood. LOL
They want you to destroy it and prove it so you dont try and sell it. At least that is what Carbon Creations did for my hood issues.

I don't get it. They sent the wrong trunk. So.... instead of shipping it back it's destroyed. Why?

When your car is done, wrap it in bubble wrap, and only bring it out on Sundays if the weather is perfect.
