Got my recall notice yesterday. A lot of cars shutting off have been reported lately on here.

be careful is all I can say man, imagine driving down a highway taking a right hand curve all of a sudden you lose power, steering locks up, you go across oncoming traffic and into the ditch trust me it's not a cool experience.

got my car back from tranny shop, new gmpp upgraded clutch and flywheel

i have to get used to driving the car again haha the release point feels different, to be expected.

glad to have my car back in my life

Went to the junkyard, found a trunk w/out a spoiler and went wingless!

which part? haha

clutch was 270 and the shop ordered the flywheel after talking to Tom at CED

labor was 750~ or so. hardware for the flywheel was like 8 something per bolt

i think its like a mom and pop type of place, had good reviews and fair prices

its off of Linden and down niki way, tucked away. between iowa and chicago. its close to 3rd/blaine

so far seems fine, idk if the gmpp clutch just bites more over stock or what but the release point is lower. So i have to be on the throttle a bit more than what i was used to haha brakes feel good too

just breaking it now and boy is it tough, i maybe hit 3-5 lbs of boost on accident today

they are happy to install the parts if you bring them.

The release point will come up a bit as it wears in. Mine was right off the floor at first. Now it's about halfway up.

yea i was hoping it would do that over time, i stalled it yesterday on a baby hill cause i wasnt used to it releasing so soon

felt like my first time thats what she said

Put my old Genuine Saab STS and solid mount bushings in my brothers cobalt.

And on next weeks episode, throwing on my old LNF solid shifter cable mount.
