What did you make it out of? I'm trying to come up with something unique myself.

Just paid $200 to get my steering fixed again after having the recall done just over a year ago. Not happy!

I got tired of clunks, squeaks and vibrations and ordered pretty much everything to R&R the front suspension on the car.

Went ahead and took it apart today. CV axles have a ton of rotational play in them, and the boots were dry rotted & holed on the drivers side. TCAB's were totally shot as usual too, almost completely separated from the CA. Sway bar end links are all dry rotted, but the sway bar bushings themselves seem to be in good shape.

I'm also going to go ahead and replace the inner/outer tie rods since I'm here, what the hell.

The struts actually seem OK, the bearings are smooth and the bushings look OK. I would like to replace them, but its money I can't spare right now so I'll do that in a couple months.

Cleaned the wheel wells throughly too while I'm here.

Transaxle fluid looks like ****, lifetime fill my ass... glad to be replacing that.

Car looks like a beached whale

Took out my MAPs to clean with electrical cleaner since I've had issues with the lower MAP every time it rains/high humidity.
Took them out and realized only the MAP on the intake mani had the blue o-ring (which is what the GMS1 sensors should have), which explains why every time it rains, the lower MAP will mess up and make me go in/out of boost randomly, throwing a CEL, and some times putting it in limp mode. The green o-ring is smaller so it explains why water would get in there.
So happy I got it fixed!
