Threw on a ZZP catless downpipe. Even with the stock catback, I expected much more loud, i'm happy that it's not overbearing. there's a bit of a a leak that needs to be cleared up, but other than that, it's pretty sweet.

Got new tires last Friday. Got an alignment yesterday. Did one 2nd gear pull and think I popped a tire. I smelled burnt rubber and now its flat.

It won't make it louder, Just less back pressure

I figured that it'd get at least a little louder in the full RPM range, but you know... REALLY noticeable under WOT, but i'm wrong and ok with it lol. I just need to fix the leak to get a hit on what it sounds like minus the leak.

Anybody got an temporary suggestion for a snapped bolt between downpipe and exh mani to still allow a better seal?? part of the bolt got stuck in the mani threads still, and i can't break it out for another day.

Not much really you can do for that, Make sure you buy a new gasket when you swap them out, if it's old.

Brand new gaskets when i put on the new downpipe (last night), but i'll check them out when it's time to replace.

Put my zzp springs up for sale and drove to work. It's nice to still get close to 30mpg even on ethanol blend.

Hurt a 1996-8 4.6 mustang owner's feelings. He thought he was going to leave me in the dust but we were even the whole time. Just a 0-50mph run.

They are when a NA 4cyl beats them. Had a loud exhaust and K&N stickers and everything. Can't wait to SC swap one day and hurt more feelings.

Opened up the blower, drained the oil and inspected everything. Rotors still have a great amount of coating and it was pretty clean inside.

Gonna port and polish, plug the silencer holes, reassemble and add new oil in the next week or so.

No just no.

This mod needs to end. It's silly.

Someone was parked across 4 spots on my lunch, so I moved my car real close next to them, rolled my windows down, ate my lunch, and leaned back for the rest of my lunch.
