Haha, i said the same exact ****, then deleted it bfore posting because i live just south of him and it could have been me.

 

Used one of those cheap ass polishing kits from Harbor Freight on my one good headlight. Turned out pretty well. IDK what happened to my other headlight but there's no hope for it.

 

Saw this today on the freeway. It amazes me how dumb people are.

what headlight are you missing?

 

You're gonna facepalm, but the passenger side. I don't know when but it looks like someone sprayed paint on the headlight and tried to wipe it off. Or some other odd sorcery. Oh on the plus side I should be getting my resistors Saturday night and getting things finalized Sunday. I'd really like to test them for a while to make sure they don't burn out. The ones I tested without resistors lasted... 5 seconds tops? They blew right away.

 

right right ya without resistors they pop right away. unless they are made for 12v id be surprised they lasted 5 seconds. So the light itself is busted or really you just need a lens?

 

I would say I just need a lens, but I'm unsure if I could ever get the headlight apart again. I used some really strong sealant. I'm thinking of just browsing the junkyard for a replacement headlight.

Naaaah there are like 15 cobalts and 7 G5s at the junkyards here. May find me some trim pieces too. There's a guy on the EP craigslist selling some cheap aftermarket headlights for $90 MORE than they are brand new on eBay.

 

Some people go crazy on prices lol

 

lol i have a really nice set of lights that i stole the lens from. i do have some lens's too but they need elbow grease to clean.

 

what junkyards have cobalts in LC?

 

None that I know of. I'm talking the one in Anthony.

 

Some ******* in a Toyota was taking all the time in the world going 40 on the freeway I wasn't even tailgating. I merge to the center lane then as I'm about to start passing the car the stupid person turns on the blinker and starts moving to my lane even after I brake and honk the crap out of my car they didn't even move still merged into the lane. I dropped down to 3rd and stepped on it and took of, got me so freaking pissed off

 

This is why I DON'T work in El Paso and if I can help it I don't shop there either.

 

Yeah some people are horrible to drive I would understand if I was tail gating and doing stuff like that but nope I was doing my thing. Felt good to go wot tho lol

 

I used to love doing that in my Nova with open headers. Scared the **** out of those stupid people so my resistors should be here tomorrow. I can't wait to finally finish these side markers up!

 

So I hand washed the car since I wasn't happy the way the car wash left it also took out the compound and did the whole car came out pretty good still need to do the Polish tho but some pics of the car also wanted to test fit my powell tow hook
