Here is a question.

Since that picture says that the 6 speed manual F40 will be available, do you think a LSD will be optional??

Because currently there is no LSD for the F40, I think. A plus is that the F40 is rated for 350torque, the F35 is only rated for 260.

And holy crap with the F40 and a .71 6th gear, max speed at 7K rpms is 180+mph!!!

I sure hope nobody goes that fast on the street. It would probably take 1.5 miles to get to that speed.

All depends on when it comes out and how much i get back on taxes.

Anyhow, I'm gonna stick with my LSJ for the time being and see just how well the LNF powered balt does. Being I'm friend with everyone at my dealership, I can get pretty much anything I want. I may just have my tech buddy warranty out a LNF engine then ecu and wiring, and just convert it.

It will only be worth it if they fixed all the problems with the first ss. Axels, clutch, wheel hop etc... Then you think well it has 260hp but 230- 240 hp to the wheels the same as a stage 2 ss/sc. Im not sure but what kind of aftermarket will there be? Its been 3 years for the ss/sc and its finally getting good. So who wants to lose a bunch of money for a car thats is basically a replica has same hp as alot of the people on this forum. And wait another 3 years? . Im with anOmalous one fwd is enough, New camaro for me! I love my car and will probaly have it for the next 3-4 years but you can only take it so far.

Thats a good question, the GXP solstice and Sky Redline which also have the 2.0 LNF are still struggling to get a aftermarket going. They seem to be having one hell of a time figuring out how to tune the PCM.

not really that excited, i got my sub compact sports car. Its fun, but im 23 now, my lease will be done when im 25 ish. Im not going to waste money to have a car thats slightly faster but still a huge piece of crap and be spending more money on it. My next car will have class and speed.

naa i wont get the turbo balt, besides i'd get raped trying to trade my car in *it's a lease* i checked about 6 months ago after i had the car for just over a year, and if i gave the car back i'd owe them nearly 10,000 for depreciation costs. I'd rather just spend 3-4000 on my current balt put on a custom turbo kit, would have much more pride of ownership knowing you modded it the way you wanted it, not as it comes off the factory line anyways

The first cobalt I hear with a bov, I'm gonna run it off the road and light it on fire!!!!! Now there might as well be two Cobalt communities. Turbo's and blowers will never get along.
