lol. sooo funny story, and true story.

at first

it appeared i didn't have it

till i flipped the mani upside down and found out that for shipping purposes(SINCE ITS AN INSERT), they flip the insert piece upside down into the same spot so it sits flush with the surface. so the piece fell out. i flipped turned that piece around and blam there i had the insert lol.

yea it was crazy. :-P either way hells yea and i just can't wait till i complete my carputer **** so i can even consider putting it on yet and dyno tuning lol

Injen CAI in SRI config. Once the mani goes on, it'll be in CAI config.

I have heard that if you put the 2.4 Intake mani on a 2.2 You HAVE to get a Tune.... Is this true???

DONE! getting the manifold out was a BITCH!

but over all im glad i did this. took me i would say 2 hours. with drilling out the hole for the map sensor (took a long time cuz i was half scared of ******* something up.

then getting the mani out took awhile.

somethings i ran into was the 2.4 manifold has an area around the stock 2.4 map sensor i had to clip off the one side and file down the other so i could could clip my harness to the map sensor.

its exactlly how he said that torque spike at around 3400ish isent really there but at about 4200 i want to say it starts to pull pretty dam hard. harder than ive ever felt from my little 2.2

no codes yet or running lean from what i can tell.

THANKS MAVEN!!!!!

07 and below will need the adapter plate. which is why maven posted this as 2008 install.

definitely understand able, if your not confident and take your time then you could **** something up. but my advice would be start early. make sure you have everything(so you dont have to go out)

but other than that the most difficult part (imo) would be getting the intake manifold out. its pretty tight in there and you have to wiggle the dipstick and **** around untill you can pull it out. took me a good 20 min just for that.

drilling out the map hole was pretty easy for me. im a pretty good wood worker and this was pretty dam similar lol.

can you get these parts at any local chevy dealership?
or do i need to order them online?

will the 2.2L throttle body bolt up to the 2.4L manifold or will i need to buy a 2.4L throttle body?

The 07's DO NOT require an adapter plate for the 2.4 mani.
