nice write up maven, deffinately will be using this when i get mine, i have two little snags, should i buy the mani kit from Crateenginedepot it will be 250 bucks and some change and all neccessary hardware will come with it, i found the H/O mani from zzp for alot cheaper around 160.00, im pretty sure its the exact same kit but it seems like it doesnt come with all the extra stuff ill need, does anyone know if the zzp comes with all the neccessary hardware for me to install on my 07'?? sry for the long post lol

you dont need the adapter plate that comes with the CED kit for an 07. Only the 05/06 cars use it. So the ZZP kit might be a great deal. You just need the gaskets.

Question: Idk if any one asked this but what does this do for the 2.2L, also do all the gaskets and stuff come with it so you dont have to buy from GM, thanx

Well what do you think? Now you have a 2.4 manifold instead of a 2.2 = more power, but less torque at lower rpms

its got a tiny little hole in the center of it you really need the one for the 2.4 manifold.

Well I have an '05 so I will need the adapter plate but there's no way that piece alone is worth the extra $80 at CED vs. ZZP. Does anyone know where to find this adapter plate? Is this it?

I am installing my 2.4l intake mani now. I am having a hard time removing the brake booster hose. The how-to states to remove the brake booster hose from the "power brake booster". I suppose the power brake booster is when the brake booster hose ends (in the firewall?). I tried pulling the hose in a downward motion after removing the black clip lock but it isn't coming off whatsover. Any suggestions?

Same Problem Here.
Bought mine from ZZP-Performance got extra seals/Gaskets except for the crankcase one & now my car sounds like I have the "HORN" pressed down so I'm Making my own with a peace of rubber tubing.

The odd looking seal between ports 2 and 3 is called a 'PCV SEAL'. PART# 12589516 at $9.46
