Maven, yes I have it on that little tab thing and its like a pressure fit. No problems at all, its just weird they don't have a screw for that one too.

As for the dipstick tube, I'll take another look but I don't recall there being anywhere for it to attach. My manifold looks exactly like yours pictured. Could just be that given I finished the install at 1am I completely forgot about it too...you never know.

It is a great mod though. I love how smooth the torque delivery is now. Very nice.

get a GOOD exhaust a good header, and the thing will pull nice and hard from 4000rpm all the way to redline. full boltons make car a lot more fun.

Yeah I'm heading in that direction eventually.

Oh and I noticed that there is a place to secure the dipstick. Its just a different hole on the bracket you have to use. I'll fix it the next time I do an oil change lol.

Also, just wonder 08 2.4 manifold is technically not a HO 2.4 manifold. Correct? I have seen pictures of 05-07 2.4 and an 08. The only difference I have seen is that the 08 2.4 manifold is a 2 piece and not a one piece design. Are the runners different?

Only reason I bring this up, is because I have not read or heard about any difference.

just wanted to say thanks this helped me to do the swap on a j-body l61. it works great just had to make a spacer so that the TB cabe didn't hit the manifold. Also with the spacer on the left top blot hole on the back of the spcaer we macth it up to the EL5 maniflod on the top of the spacer we macth it up to the L61 TB. Everything else was the same

Went ahead and bought the 08 2.4 Manifold. Here are some pics of the Manifold.
When I pull the 2.2 Manifold I will also make the same pics to compare.
